Invisalign Aligners

How Does Invisalign® Work?

The custom-fitted, clear aligners work to gently guide your teeth into the most ideal position. Each set of aligners should be worn for about 2 weeks before you are instructed to transition to the next set of aligners in your series. The system performs best when you commit to wearing your aligners as much as possible, removing them only when you eat, drink, brush, and floss.

With each new set of aligners in the series, you will see that your teeth are gradually moving, week by week - eventually revealing a beautifully straight smile.

You'll visit our office at least once every 6 weeks so that your progress can be professionally monitored.

While each of our patients is unique, we have found that the average Invisalign treatment time ranges from 9 - 15 months, requiring an average of 18 - 30 aligners.

Invisalign Before After

How Are Aligners Made? It’s an Incredible Process...

Our team partners with the specialists at the Invisalign® headquarters to create your custom aligners utilizing a combination of our clinical expertise, 3-D computer imaging, and digital technology. Computer software is used to identify the best tooth positioning for you as well as predict the precise tooth movements that will get you there. This information is then used to design and sequence your laser-cut aligners.
